REET 2018 Eligibility Condition

Education Qualification is different for Primary Level & Secondary Level teachers Posts. In level I the teaching posts are coming from class I to V & level II for teaching posts from Class VI to VIII.

Level Education Qualification
Level I (Teachers posts from class I to V- Primary Level)
  • Candidates must have completed diploma elementary education as under NCTE norms.
  • Candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from recognized institution
  • You have 2-years Diploma in Special Education.
  • All aspirant with graduation and qualified or pursuing in the final year of two year diploma in elementary education is able to apply.
  • Along with all these education degree you must have complete senior secondary with at least 50% marks.
  • Final Year applicants among these courses are also eligible to apply.
Level II (Teachers posts from class VI to VIII- Secondary Level)
  • Candidates have graduation degree or passed or pursue in final year of two year diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Applicants have graduation degree with at least 50% marks & qualified 1st year of B.Ed or appearing in 2nd year is eligible.
  • Graduate with 50% aggregate and passed or appearing in 1st year of B.Ed
